Is it a Remedial Massage or a Specific Treatment, Your After?
We’ve got you covered for both! Here’s the difference:
Remedial Massage Therapy and Manual Therapy both aim to relieve pain, improve mobility, and support recovery, the two approaches differ in scope and application.
REMEDIAL & DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Focuses primarily on the soft tissues—muscles, tendons, and fascia—using targeted pressure, stretching, and manipulation to address tension, knots, and muscle dysfunction. It is highly effective for relieving soreness, aiding circulation, and supporting injury recovery.
MANUAL THERAPY TREATMENTS
Are a broader, more comprehensive treatment approach that includes soft tissue techniques but also incorporates orthopaedic assessments, joint mobilisation, assisted stretching, trigger point release, myofascial techniques and dry needling. Manual therapy is often used to address both soft tissue and joint-related restrictions, making it especially suited to treating complex musculoskeletal issues and pain where movement patterns, posture, and nerve involvement need to be considered alongside muscle health
