I kicked off my therapy journey back in 2005, and by 2015 I gave it a name — The Massage Mechanic. It suited me well at the time. But as the years rolled on, my skills expanded, my curiosity deepened, and my toolkit grew… so in 2025 I upgraded the brand to The Body Technician. Same hands, bigger vision. It turns out humans are even more complex than factory machinery (and slightly less likely to spark).
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an Industrial Electrical Line Technician, fault-finding and maintaining automated factory equipment. Basically, if something stopped working, I figured out why. That job sharpened my precision, problem-solving, and ability to see how one tiny component can throw off an entire system — skills that translate surprisingly well to the human body. You’re just a very advanced machine… with opinions
I also grew up in my family’s butcher shop, which gave me a strong work ethic, a deep sense of community, and an unusually hands-on understanding of what’s going on beneath the skin — connective tissue, joints, muscles… I’ve been studying anatomy in one way or another my whole life.
I’ve loved serving the Camden Haven region since 2015, and I’m excited to keep adding new services, new ideas, and more value to our community in the years ahead.
Trav.
